A digital interpretation of lettering works shown in Moonland short realised by Neil MCGUIRE & William A. O’CONNOR in 1926.
From the Eccentric lettering style of William Hugh Gardon, possibly imitated by Harry B. Johnson in Merry Go Round and Moonland.
This typeface included swash alternates and various disproportions related to speedball lettering techniques.
Started as a study case in the context of Julien Van Anholt research on Silent Movies title works.
